Trampoline Pad Protection

How To Protect Your Trampoline Pads

Step One

The main thing to do when protecting your pads is to get hold of a cover; this will protect the pads from falling debris and weathering. This is mainly done in the winter months but the cover will also protect the pads from sun damage in the hotter months of the year. Also a trampoline cover marks the trampoline as out of bounds to stop smaller children playing when an adult is not present.

Step Two

During high winds it is recommended to take the pads off the trampoline as strong winds have been known to tear the pads off the frame.

Step Three –

Cleaning the pads regularly will help keep the pads in good condition and they will last a lot longer against weathering.

Step Four –

The main cause of damage to trampolines would be caused by burning, please do not allow any one to smoke near or on the trampoline also when planning to have a BBQ please be sure to cover the trampoline to protect it against burning embers.

Step Five –

During the winter months frost is a problem as this can make the trampoline pads brittle, it is best to cover the pads at this time or even better to take the pads off the trampoline and keep safe, maybe in a garage or garden shed somewhere up high where rats and mice cannot get to them.
